Thirteen nights in December
December 10 to 13, 16 to 23, and the 26th. Journeys run from about 3:00 to 8:00 PM each night, with timed entry throughout the afternoon and evening. Value nights, December 10, 16 and 17, start at $50.
The weekend of December 18 to 20 is the busiest. Weekends book first, and popular slots sell out. Check live availability before you plan the drive.

Stocking Full of Christmas takes place inside the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in the Aviara neighborhood of Carlsbad, a mile inland from the coast and overlooking Batiquitos Lagoon in North County San Diego.

McClellan-Palomar Airport is 4 miles away. Coming up from San Diego without a car? The Coaster stops at Carlsbad Poinsettia Station, a short ride from the resort. From Orange County, Newport Beach, or San Clemente the drive is under an hour outside of traffic, and Park Hyatt Aviara offers room packages for event guests.
Parking at Park Hyatt Aviara
Parking for Stocking Full of Christmas is $20, valet or self-park, at the resort. The event is in the ballroom on the lower level; follow the resort’s signage from the main entrance.
Additional arrival and parking instructions are emailed to ticket holders before the event, so check your confirmation the day before.
When to arrive
Timed entry, and each journey is capped at forty-five guests. Arriving early is the difference between walking in and waiting for the next slot.

VIP
Arrive about one hour early
The VIP Lounge opens an hour before your journey for stocking decorating, a character meet and greet, sponsor gifts, and photos. What VIP includes
Running late? We will do our best to place you in the next available slot. If that slot is at capacity, entry cannot be guaranteed. Tickets can be moved to another available date or time during the season, subject to availability. Bringing a big party? Private groups can reserve a whole slot.
Accessibility, strollers, and what to bring
Accessibility
Stocking Full of Christmas is designed to welcome guests of varying mobility needs, including wheelchair users. It is indoors, on one level of the ballroom, and the journey moves at a pace set by your elf rather than the crowd.

Strollers and wagons
Strollers and wagons are allowed, though small strollers are strongly encouraged. The journey moves through several rooms and hallways, so keep them to a minimum where you can.
If a stroller is not essential, leave it at the front before the journey begins. Service animals only.
Food and drink
Food is not included with admission, with one exception: every guest gets a cookie from Mrs. Claus. Outside food and drink are not permitted inside.
Restaurants are open on the resort property before and after your slot, which makes dinner easy.
What to wear
Festive. Holiday dresses, Christmas sweaters, matching family outfits, and Christmas pajamas all belong here. Pajamas photograph well on the little ones. It is climate-controlled indoors, so you can dress for the photos rather than the weather.
Comfortable shoes. You are on your feet for about an hour to an hour and a half, and you take your own photos in every room, including with Santa. All questions answered
